Americares Does Care About Darfur

Americares is working hard to improve the living conditions of the refugee camps in Chad. With so many people being forced from their homes in Darfur, the population in Chad has expanded too quickly to maintain the proper health of those in the camps.

Americares has given money and medication to try and provide much needed medical help to those in the camps. Health care providers will also be trained so they are better able to help those in need.

The more people in the region are able to take care of themselves, the better the rebuilding efforts will be when the area is finally stabalized.
