Darfur Now opens today in Los Angeles and New York. The film is a must see for those interested in the Darfur saga.
The film tells six different stories one involves a mother who joined the rebel force after watching her son beaten to death. Ahmed Mohammed Abakar use to be a farmer and builder, and now is living in a refugee camp.
The film is a testament to what people can do when they try, and work together.
